Stress Therapy

If you are looking for Stress Therapy Ightham, Borough Green, Online or within the Kent Area, I can help.

Our bodies are designed to experience stress and react to it.  This can be both positive and motivating.  However, it can be problematic is these stress factors continue without any relief or relaxation.

Types of Stress

  • Acute stress – this is short-term and fleeting. It’s akin to the feeling of riding a roller-coaster but might also be experienced when we are mid-fight with someone.
  • Episodic acute stress – this is when we experience the above form of acute stress on a more regular basis. It usually occurs when you are extremely busy, with no time to rest and relax.
  • Chronic stress – this is more long-term and can go on for weeks and months. We can feel stress of this kind in relation to work, our personal relationships and financial issues.
